Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids was born in Woodland Hills in 1956. Her father was a schoolteacher and her mom was a stay-at-home mother. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. She won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent of the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the business of show production. McCormick was chosen to play in her first major part in 1964, in the tv spot for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It up until It breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked out of a crowd of over 1200 children who auditioned to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters in the upcoming TV sitcom The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The five-year run of the show proved to be a huge success. McCormick revealed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick nearly lost her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year run on the program. The time was when she was just 16 years old and he was 19. She told me that it could have been feasible, but we never had the right time to do it.
