Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most well-known roles are in television and films. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. Her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress appeared in a lot of television shows in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen as a character from Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised as a child in Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens, she moved together with family members in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model, appearing in television commercials and magazine advertisements. In the years before she had a career as a model She worked as a salesperson in the retail industry as well as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. In 2009 she was cast in a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Then, in 2021 she made her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. The role of Naevia was also played by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred on three separate television series, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The role she was playing first came to her in Mazikeen, a demon who seeks bounty on the hit Netflix show Lucifer. Her most important role up to this point.
